The North Carolina Tar Heels have opened the season 2-0 with wins over Northern Iowa and Bucknell in the Dean Dome.
Now they are preparing for a trip out West to play Stanford in California and then participate in the Phil Knight 80 Invitational Tournament during Thanksgiving week.
The inaugural tournament will feature some of the best teams in the country including No.1 Duke, No. 2 Michigan State, No. 8 Florida and No. 9 North Carolina.
Created to celebrate the 80th birthday of Nike founder Phil Knight and will have two separate tournaments with eight teams in each bracket.
