CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina women's basketball team will play six games at home and travel to Texas, Minnesota and the Bahamas as part of a challenging 2021-22 non-conference schedule, announced on Tuesday. The Tar Heels open the season on Nov. 9, hosting North Carolina A&T at Carmichael Arena.
"Our non-conference schedule was created in an effort to challenge us against teams from all across the country, versus a variety of styles of plays, and doing so in unique environments before getting into the gauntlet of the ACC," said UNC coach Courtney Banghart, who is headed into her third season at the program's helm.
