CHAPEL HILL – A first-ever on-campus game against Gonzaga, a neutral-site contest against Kentucky, a Thanksgiving tournament in Las Vegas, and home games against a pair of former Tar Heel assistant coaches highlight the 2018-19 non-conference schedule for the University of North Carolina men's basketball team.
Carolina will play host to Gonzaga at the Dean E. Smith Center on December 15th in the fourth meeting between the two schools and the fourth between Carolina head coach Roy Williams and Gonzaga's Mark Few, who have the two highest career winning percentages among active NCAA coaches.
