CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The UNC men's and women's swimming teams will open the 2023-24 season on the road Friday, Sept. 29, with a dual match at 4 p.m. in Charlotte against Queens University as the Tar Heels lift the lid on a campaign against the Royals for the third consecutive season.
North Carolina swept the dual meet against Queens each of the two previous seasons.
"I like swimming against Queens to start," head coach Mark Gangloff said. "It gives a lot of our athletes looks at a lot of different events, especially with freshmen, and trying to figure out where we're going to plug them in throughout the rest of the season is really important.
