GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina finished in 12th place at the 2021 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships from the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
The Tar Heels wracked up 144 points as a team, the third most points among ACC programs. Fellow conference rivals Virginia and NC State finished 1-2 in the team standings with 491 and 354 points, respectively.
Junior Sophie Lindner grabbed honorable mention All-America honors for the second night in a row. On Saturday, Lindner swam a personal best time of 1:52.69 to finish 13th in the 200-yard backstroke, good for the second fastest time in program history.
