GREENSBORO, N.C. – North Carolina’s Alan Winn shared ACC Men’s Soccer Offensive Players of the Week honors, while teammate Colton Storm was named the Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Winn, a sophomore forward from Garland, Texas, scored two second-half goals, including the game winner, in the 4-2 victory over second-ranked Notre Dame last Friday evening in Chapel Hill. The two goals, his first scores of the season, came in a span of eight minutes, 44 seconds that virtually put the game away as North Carolina took a 4-1 lead with under 30 minutes left in regulation.
