PITTSBURGH, Pa. - A pair of late second half goals sent No. 2 North Carolina to a 2-0 victory at Pittsburgh Friday night at Ambrose Urbanic Field.
North Carolina (8-0-1, 4-0-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) remained unbeaten on the season with goals from Colton Storm and Tucker Hume, while red-shirt keeper James Pyle earned his fourth shoutout of the season.
Carolina played most of the second half in the home teams final third of the field and it seemed only a matter of time before the Tar Heels would break through with a goal.
