Six former Tar Heels win first World Cup rings

Six former UNC players won their first World Cup rings with Sunday's 5-2 women's World Cup final win over Japan: starting midfielder Tobin Heath and starting defender Meghan Klingenberg as well as reserves Lori Chalupny, Heather O'Reilly, Ashlyn Harris and Whitney Engen. O'Reilly has won three Olympic gold medals and Heath has two and Chalupny one. (GoHeels.com)
