CHAPEL HILL—Seven University of North Carolina players earned All-ACC honors in women's lacrosse for 2022, including four first-team picks who are all repeat honorees. The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the teams on Tuesday after a vote of the league's nine head coaches.
Tar Heels Taylor Moreno, Jamie Ortega, Emma Trenchard and Ally Mastroianni made the first team. Moreno, Ortega and Trenchard earned first-team accolades for the third season in a row (2019, 2021, 2022) and Mastroianni did so for the second consecutive year.
Junior Emily Nalls and sophomore Caitlyn Wurzburger both earned Second-Team All-ACC honors, while defender Brooklyn Walker-Welch made the ACC All-Freshman Team.
