Sugar Grove, Ill. - After a morning of rain and lightning, the NCAA has made the decision to cancel the second round of play at Rich Harvest Farms.
Now, the stroke play portion of the NCAA Championships will be played over 54 holes, rather than the originally planned 72. The teams will play 18 holes Sunday and 18 holes Monday to finish the competition.
The cut to 15 teams that was planned to occur after Sunday's third round will not take place. All 24 teams will play Sunday and Monday with the top eight after Monday's third round advancing to match play.
