CHAPEL HILL – Tar Heel signees Julia Scoles (Mooresville, N.C.) and Mia Fradenburg (Durham, N.C.) elected to begin their Carolina careers a semester early, as the pair of local freshmen enrolled and began classes earlier this week and participated in their first practice as Tar Heels on Thursday. The duo will have a full eight months to train with the team before their first collegiate match, giving them a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact early in their careers. Scoles and Fradenburg will be joined by the remainder of their signing class this summer, including Taylor Borup, Holly Carlton, Katharine Esterley and Mariah Evans.
