Schoolkids Records to replace CD Alley on Franklin Street

Schoolkids Records, a record store founded in 1974, will return to Chapel Hill on March 1 as the company’s third location within the Triangle. The original Chapel Hill store was under different management and closed its doors in the mid-1990s.Schoolkids owner Stephen Judge said the company had up to six stores at a time, but it was the most difficult to watch the Chapel Hill store close.
