CHAPEL HILL -- Aaron Sabato and Danny Serretti were named Perfect Game Freshman All-Americans, the site announced Thursday morning. This is the first time since 2013 that North Carolina has had multiple freshman All-Americans since Skye Bolt, Landon Lassiter and Trent Thornton all received the honors. Sabato and Serretti, who were already named Collegiate Baseball freshman All-Americans, led the team in conference batting average to become the first pair of freshman to do that since Josh Horton and Chad Flack in 2005
A native of Rye Brook, N.Y., Sabato having one of the best freshman seasons in recent Carolina Baseball history.
