SAN DIEGO, CALIF. - Former North Carolina men's lacrosse defenseman Jack Rowlett and the USA Lacrosse Senior National Team begin the 2023 World Lacrosse Men's Championship on home soil this week, serving as the host country for the nearly two-week event in San Diego.
The reigning world champion and top seeded U.S. begin the 30-team event on Wednesday night, squaring off with Canada at 10 PM ET.
Rowlett was one of 23 Americans selected to represent the country in December. The final roster was selected following a 50-player training camp help in Florida that month, which saw five Tar Heels invited.
