RALEIGH, N.C. – The North Carolina rowing team kick started the two-day Lake Wheeler Invitational, in which the Tar Heels are co-hosting with Duke.
The first day from Lake Wheeler was comprised of two rounds, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, on the sunny Friday afternoon.
The Tar Heel first varsity four boat improved their time two seconds, compared to the last time out, finishing sixth in their race in a time of 7:38.88. For the second varsity four, the Tar Heels finished fifth in their respective race, with a time of 7:46.
