Rice offensive line transfer Chad Lindberg committed to North Carolina during his official visit, according to his agent Evan Pobuta of Vienna Talent. Lindberg, a 6-foot-6, 315-pounder, is a former top-140 football recruit who Lindberg signed with Georgia out of League City (Texas) Clear Creek High. Purdue transfer Ryan Browne committed to the Tar Heels on Thursday night. Browne, a 6-foot-4, 210-pounder, appeared in eight games for Purdue this past season.
