North Carolina's Beni Rabinowitz has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Fencer of the Week, as announced Wednesday by the league.
Rabinowitz, a junior from Charlotte, was 5-0 in men's sabre at the Temple Invitational on Sunday.
He went 2-0 against St. John's as the Tar Heels won 15-12, with the sabe squad winning 8-1.
Against Penn State, Rabinowitz was 3-0, including wins over two 2020 NCAA qualifiers. His wins led the Carolina sabre squad to a 5-4 weapon win, but the team fell 17-10 overall.
