Just months after losing to the Tar Heels in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, Arkansas got their shot again. But like that meeting in March, the Tar Heels were just too much for the Razorbacks.
Arkansas jumped out to a quick 10-4 lead as the Tar Heels struggled offensively. UNC had just two made field goals in the first five minutes of the game and went scoreless on their first five possessions.
The Tar Heels figured it out quickly, however.
UNC went on a 13-0 run to take a 17-10 lead and the Razorbacks got it down to three in the first half before the Tar Heels opened it back up again.
