DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Former Tar Heel Katherine Perry won her LPGA Tour card for the upcoming season following a 2-under par 70 to finish the tournament in a tie for 14th at 5-under par.
Perry graduated from Carolina in 2014. Her best stroke average as a Tar Heel came in the 2011-2012 season when she averaged 74.60 strokes per round. She also shot 13 under par rounds during her career.
Her best individual results came at the 2012 Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, where she finished third overall, and the 2013 UCF Challenge, where she finished tied for third overall.
