CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Four distinguished professionals, all standout collegiate scholar-athletes, have been announced as the newest members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America® Hall of Fame. This year’s class of inductees includes University of North Carolina women’s soccer standout Heather O’Reilly (2003-06) who led Carolina to a pair of NCAA championships and was the CoSIDA Women’s Soccer Academic All-America of the Year in her senior season in 2006.
Created in 1988, the CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame recognizes former Academic All-Americas who received a college degree at least 10 years ago, have achieved lifetime success in their professional careers, and are committed to philanthropic causes.
