CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—Notre Dame posted 576 total yards of offense and beat North Carolina, 45-32, on Saturday afternoon at Kenan Stadium.
The Fighting Irish piled up 289 rushing yards and 287 receiving yards on the day, outgaining UNC by over 200 yards.
With the victory, the Fighting Irish won their second game in a row and improved to 2-2 this season. Carolina took its first loss of 2022 and fell to 3-1.
The Tar Heels were trying for their first 4-0 start since 1997 in the final year of head coach Mack Brown's first stint as the Carolina head coach.
