North Carolina football recruiting: Safety Bryson Richardson commits to UNC

Buford, Georgia safety Bryson Richardson committed to North Carolina during a campus visit on Wednesday afternoon. The six-foot-one, 175-pound Richardson was previously committed to Tennessee, the same place former UNC defensive backs coach Charlton Warren left for.

In Richardson, the Heels are getting another versatile defensive back. They project him as a safety, but he has shown an ability to play corner at Buford. According to his Hudl page, he brings a 4.57-second 40 and an impressive 4.19-second shuttle to the table, along with a confirmed 34-inch vertical jump.
