LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The North Carolina field hockey team fell 1-0 Saturday at Louisville in a top-10 Atlantic Coast Conference matchup at Trager Stadium. No. 3 UNC fell to 11-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play. The No. 7 Cardinals improved to 12-3 overall, 2-3 in the ACC.
The game’s only goal came in the 46th minute of play. Erin McCrudden scored her second goal of the season on a shot from the middle of the circle in to the left side of the cage. It was the only shot UNC’s defense allowed in the half.
For the game, Carolina had 11 shots, 4 of them on goal.
