Welcome to the NFL Nazair Jones.
With the 102nd overall pick, the 38th pick in the third round, the Seattle Seahawks have added to their unit of defensive tackles by selecting the former Tar Heel.
Jones becomes the 17th defensive tackle taken from the University of North Carolina. He is the first defensive lineman taken since the Arizona Cardinals took Kareem Martin in the third round back in 2014.
Last season Jones finished with 70 tackles, 9.5 for loss. He also had 2.5 sacks. Jones also did what good defensive linemen do and got his hands in the air, blocking three passes.
