Just like that the 2016 NFL Draft has come and gone.
This will be the second-straight season a North Carolina Tar Heel wasn’t drafted into the NFL, as guard Landon Turner becomes the most puzzling decision.
Turner was the Tar Heels best prospect going into the 2016 NFL Draft, as many scouts had him as high as a fourth round talent. He was projected to go between rounds five and seven, but didn’t hear his name called as the selections wrapped up on Saturday.
Instead Turner will now become an undrafted free agent and is able to sign with any team.
