INDIANAPOLIS – North Carolina’s Paige Neuenfeldt was selected as a nominee for 2016 NCAA Woman of the Year, as announced by the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics. The Tar Heel senior is among 517 student-athletes considered for the elite award, including 231 Division I women.
The NCAA Woman of the Year award honors graduating female college athletes who have exhausted their eligibility and distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in academics, athletics, service and leadership.
A four-time AVCA All-America honoree, Neuenfeldt is one of the most prolific middle blockers to come through the Carolina volleyball program.
