CHAPEL HILL --- Tyler Ramirez broke a scoreless tie with an RBI double in the top of the eighth and the Navy Team took game one of the 2015 Fall World Series 2-0 Tuesday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Starters J.B. Bukauskas and Jason Morgan dominated from the mound as neither team could push across a run in the first seven innings. Bukauskas struck out 10 in 5.2 innings while Morgan allowed just two hits in 6.0 shutout frames.
The international tiebreaker was used to start the eighth, and Ramirez blasted an RBI double off the wall in right center to give Navy the day's first run.
