CHAPEL HILL — The University of North Carolina's men's soccer team has earned an at-large bid to the 2021 NCAA Championship, the NCAA announced on Monday afternoon. It's the 28th NCAA Tournament bid in program history.
The Tar Heels (11-6-1) will host fellow at-large bid Loyola Maryland (10-6-3) in the first round on Thursday, November 18th (time TBD).
The winner of the game between UNC and Loyola Maryland will advance to play the 16-seed New Hampshire (16-1-2) on Sunday, November 21st.
Other Atlantic Coast Conference teams in the field include Clemson, Duke, Louisville, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.
