David Ford, Austin Greaser and Peter Fountain finished in the top five and all five Tar Heel starters and two individual entries placed in the top 16 as the University of North Carolina rolled to a nine-stroke win Tuesday at the first-ever Williams Cup presented by STITCH Golf at Eagle Point Golf Club.
UNC hosted the two-day, 54-hole tournament to honor Roy Williams, who retired in April after 18 seasons as the Tar Heels' men's basketball coach, and his wife, Wanda.
Carolina shot 5-under-par 283 today to finish 17-under 847 for the tournament.
