The University of North Carolina men's golf team is the No. 1 seed in the NCAA regional in Salem, S.C., the Tar Heels' eighth straight invitation to play in the NCAA Tournament.
UNC is one of six teams to advance out of regionals in each of the previous five NCAA Tournaments with Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt and Arizona State.
The Tar Heels are one of three ACC teams in the 14-team field in Salem, which will be played May 15-17 at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls. Georgia Tech is the No. 2 seed and tournament host Clemson is ninth.
