David Ford and Dylan Menante led the University of North Carolina with three-under-par 69s Sunday but the Tar Heel shot even par as a team for the second straight round and did not advance to match play at the 2023 ACC Men's Golf Championship at the Country Club of North Carolina.
Georgia Tech finished first in stroke play at 26-under 838, 16 shots clear of Wake Forest (10-under 854). Virginia and Duke tied for third place at 4 under to claim the final two berths in the semifinals.
Sixth-ranked Florida State was fifth at 2 under and the second-ranked and top-seeded Tar Heels were tied with Louisville at 2-over 866.
