CHAPEL HILL – University of North Carolina junior forward Luke Maye and senior guard Joel Berry II are two of five players named to the 2018 All-Atlantic Coast Conference first team. In addition, Maye was named the league's Most Improved Player in a vote by the league's head coaches, member schools' radio broadcasters and a select media panel.
Berry was a second-team All-ACC selection a year ago.
This is the first time since 2012 Carolina placed multiple players on the All-ACC first team. That year, three Tar Heels – Tyler Zeller, Harrison Barnes and John Henson – made the first team.
