Lula’s on Franklin Street has announced its closure just two years after it opened in Chapel Hill. Lula’s opened in 2018 as the latest concept from the Chapel Hill Restaurant Group. It replaced the iconic eatery Spanky’s, which the company “retired” after more than 40 years in business. Like other small businesses, Lula’s was hit hard during the pandemic. (Chapelboro.com)
