1. Carolina got exactly what it needed with an authoritative 74-58 whipping of Virginia on Saturday afternoon.
2. This was the Armando Bacot game. Bacot set career highs in points, rebounds and offensive rebounds and completely dominated the game. He finished with 29 points and 21 rebounds, becoming the second Tar Heel in history to get at least 20 boards in the Smith Center (the other was Sean May).
3. Bacot was good enough that he needs two notes. He had the first Carolina 20/20 game since Brice Johnson against Florida State in 2016.
