The practice plan for day two of Carolina basketball’s preseason conditioning began with a simple thought for the day printed atop the conditioning schedule, one that’s likely to be repeated often by Roy Williams and the Tar Heel coaching staff over the next few months:
“What can I do to make our team stronger and tougher this year?”
That’s one of Williams’ primary stated goals for his 2015-16 squad, which is going through preseason conditioning—ending with the annual Carolina mile—over the next two weeks. The sessions are designed by Tar Heel strength and coordinator Jonas Sahratian.
