It took a shootoff to decide the winner in a Thursday drill that featured the Tar Heel perimeter players competing to see how many three-pointers in a row they could make from the top of the key. Andrew Platek and Kerwin Walton each swished seven in a row. Walton narrowly won the shootoff.
The freshman has shot the ball better in recent practices, showing the stroke that made him such a key late addition to the Carolina recruiting class. But he also knows he'll have to make some adjustments as the season begins next week.
