GREENSBORO – Pitt sophomore forward Justin Champagnie was named the ACC Player of the Week for the second consecutive week Monday. North Carolina guard Caleb Love earned ACC Freshman of the Week accolades.
ACC men's basketball weekly honors are determined by a vote of a 15-member media panel and announced on Mondays throughout the regular season.
Champagnie is the first ACC player to notch Player of the Week honors in consecutive weeks since North Carolina's Joel Berry did so on Jan. 9 and 16, 2017. Champagnie now has claimed Player of the Week honors three times this season.
