GREENVILLE, N.C. – Six unanswered goals in the fourth quarter allowed the No. 5 University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team to hang on for a 12-9 win over East Carolina on Tuesday afternoon in Greenville.
Following the win, the Tar Heels improve to 11-2 (6-1 ACC) while the Pirates drop to 10-4 (3-0 AAC).
