North Carolina coach Larry Fedora has teamed up with the Fisher DeBerry Foundation and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for an upcoming charity event at the Blue Zone at Kenan Stadium.
“An Evening with Larry Fedora & Tar Heel Football Legends” is scheduled for June 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will benefit both the Fisher DeBerry Foundation and the FCA Chaplaincy Ministry at UNC, which is led in part by football team chaplain Mitch Mason.
The portion of the money that the DeBerry Foundation collects will remain in North Carolina, said Burt Trembley, who is among the organizers of the event.
