CHAPEL HILL— set season highs with 20 points and eight rebounds to lead North Carolina to a comeback win over No. 11 Florida State on Saturday in the Smith Center.
The win was the 900th in the head coaching career of UNC's , becoming the fourth coach to do so. Williams' 900th win came in fewer seasons and fewer games than any coach in history.
Freshmen guards (13 points with three three-pointers), (12 points) and (12) also scored in double figures for the Tar Heels.
Carolina committed 14 turnovers and made just seven field goals in the first half as FSU led, 41-29, at the break.
