GREENSBORO, North Carolina - First team All-ACC guard grew up a short drive from the Greensboro Coliseum and was a prep star at nearby Page High School, but had never played a game inside the arena until Wednesday morning in the first round of the ACC Tournament.
Kea offered up 28 points in what she later described as "a dream come true" in playing so well inside a building that she frequently visited during her childhood watching this very tournament.
ACC Freshman of the Year added 16 points and 13 rebounds in leading 12th seed North Carolina to a 69-64 victory over 13th seed Boston College.
