Many thought James Michael McAdoo left North Carolina a year too early. McAdoo left the program for the NBA his junior year after shining his freshman season with the Tar Heels.
McAdoo went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, but he caught the eye of the Golden State Warriors during the NBA’s Summer League. He would go on to join former UNC teammate Harrison Barnes as McAdoo signed a 10-day contract in January. But McAdoo was then assigned to the team’s D-League affiliate in Santa Cruz as he was looking for answers in his NBA career.
Fast forward to June, now McAdoo has two rings.
