Immediate scholarship from UNC doesn't mean Luke Maye can take a deep breath

Luke Maye committed to UNC in November even though he faced the likelihood of enrolling as a walk-on and receiving a scholarship after his freshman season. He passed up offers from Clemson and nearby Davidson, in part, because he wanted to go to his dream school, the same place where his parents had attended college and his father, Mark, had played quarterback. Maye, a three-star forward, is also confident enough in his abilities to believe he can compete at the highest level. (Fayetteville Observer)
