CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Home was certainly sweet for the North Carolina field hockey team Friday as the No. 3 Tar Heels beat No. 9 Louisville 5-0 in their first game at Francis E. Henry Stadium this season. UNC improved to 6-1 and 1-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play with the win, while the Cardinals fell to 5-2 (0-2 ACC).
UNC got four goals from its three seniors – two from Nina Notman and one each from Casey Di Nardo and Emily Wold – and one from junior Lauren Moyer.
