Virginia's balance, 3-point shooting and good defense were too much for North Carolina to handle in the Cavaliers' 71-63 win that clinched their second ACC title in the past five seasons and their third overall.
North Carolina (25-10) fell behind early in the first half and was never able to take the lead after halftime. The Cavaliers (31-2) finished 20-1 in ACC games this season.
