CHAPEL HILL - The Carolina men’s soccer team spent Thursday afternoon at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The entire team visited the Bone Marrow and Transplant Unit and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Unit up on Manning Drive.
The team was divided up into four groups and went room-to-room spending time with patients and their families, and signed posters for the patients to hang in their rooms.
For senior Raby George, a midfielder from Sweden, it was time well spent with his fellow UNC student-athletes.
“It was an incredibly humbling experience for me as an individual and for us as a team,” said George.
