Andrew Miller will be one of three New York Yankees playing in the 2016 Major League Baseball game. Miller joins fellow teammates Dellin Betances and Carlos Beltran in the All-Star game.
Miller played baseball at UNC from 2003 to 2006. While being a part of the ‘Diamond Heels,’ Miller led UNC to the College World Series. In addition, he was the 2006 NCAA National Pitcher of the Year.
Miller was selected sixth overall in the 2006 MLB Draft by the Detroit Tigers. Despite playing for several teams (i.e. Detroit Tigers, Florida Marlins, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees), it seems as though Miller has found a home in New York City.
