WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Three North Carolina women's tennis players reached the semifinals in singles play, while two doubles teams advanced to the finals on Saturday at the ITA Carolina Regional Championships.
No. 2 seed and 32nd ranked and No. 4 seed each knocked off opponents from Duke in Saturday's quarterfinal round in main draw singles one action. Next up are semifinal matches on Sunday at 9 a.m. Morra takes on No. 3 seed and 21st ranked Carolyn Campana from Wake Forest, while Tanguilig will battle NC State's Jaeda Daniel, the fifth seed and No. 111 ranked player.
