CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina women's soccer team returns to the pitch on Sunday when it plays host to the University of Virginia at Fetzer Field at 1 p.m. in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals.
UNC is the #4 seed in this year's tournament while Virginia is the #5 seed. UNC heads into the match with an 11-3-3 overall record and 6-2-2 ledger in the ACC. The Cavaliers are 13-3-2 overall and 6-2-2 in the ACC. UNC, Virginia and Florida State all tied for fourth place in the ACC regular season standings and were seeded 4-5-6 respectively based on tiebreakers.
