CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The North Carolina gymnastics team presented awards to its team members at the annual season-ending team banquet on Sunday, April 24.
Morgan Lane, a sophomore from Columbus, Ind., was named the team's Most Outstanding Gymnast. Lane became the first gymnast in UNC history to score a 39.000 in every event she competed (10). Lane was also recognized at the top performer on balance beam and floor exercise.
Senior Lexi Cappalli was the recipient of the 2016 Kaiser Leadership Award, which acknowledges outstanding commitment to the team and individual growth & development.
